How to cancel
Give 30 days’ written notice. You do not need to give a reason. Email hello@byqen.com with your business name and the service you want to cancel.
Monthly retainers
Eligible unused days in the current cycle are refunded pro rata where work has not been performed. Refunds are paid within 14 working days of final handover. The onboarding fee and first month’s foundation work are non-refundable under the catalogue, subject to applicable law.
Minimum terms and prepayment
For a single service with a three-month minimum, early exit refunds unperformed days but withdraws the minimum-term concession: completed months are recalculated at the standard rate and the difference is deducted from the refund.
For prepaid six- or twelve-month engagements, unused whole months are refunded after completed months are recalculated at the standard rate, reversing the prepayment discount.
Fixed-scope projects
Unstarted phases are refunded in full. Completed and delivered milestones are non-refundable under the catalogue. Work in progress is charged for hours actually spent. Your proposal should state milestones and the applicable rates.
Advertising and third-party costs
Advertising-management fees are refunded pro rata. Advertising spend is paid to the advertising platform and is outside BYQEN’s refund process. Third-party licences, hosting, domains, API and messaging charges already incurred are non-refundable under the catalogue, subject to applicable law and any applicable provider rights.
What you keep
The catalogue provides for handover of the client’s website, content, business profiles, listings, systems, automations, data, dashboards and access. Handover includes a call, transfer of access, a final report and written next-step recommendations. Third-party platforms remain subject to their own licences and account rules.
Returning to BYQEN
Returning clients are quoted at current standard prices. A setup fee may apply again where systems have lapsed.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited. If mandatory law requires a different refund or remedy, that requirement takes precedence. Your written agreement records any agreed variations consistent with applicable law.
